Amanda Doroshow
Amanda is a senior program associate for the Unaccompanied Children Program, a national initiative to increase access to legal information and representation for unaccompanied children facing removal from the United States.
Amanda originally served as a senior program associate in the Unaccompanied Children’s Program at the Vera Institute of Justice from 2019 to 2022. Prior to Vera, Amanda was an immigration attorney at Her Justice, where she trained and mentored pro bono attorneys and represented survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking pursuing immigration relief. Amanda started her career in the immigration field as an attorney at Empire Justice Center, where she represented residents in New York’s lower Hudson Valley pursuing both affirmative and defensive immigration relief. Amanda also volunteered with the Dilley Pro Bono Project on the Texas/Mexico border, assisting women and children seeking asylum. Amanda earned her JD from CUNY School of Law and her BA from the University of Delaware. She is admitted to the New York bar.
