Noora Barakat is a Program Manager with the Learning and Development team of the Unaccompanied Children Program. Before joining UCP, Noora represented immigrants in New York City as a family law and removal defense attorney. Prior to that, Noora spent one year in Amman, Jordan where she worked on gender justice issues and refugee resettlement cases. Noora holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Child Development and American Studies from Tufts University. She lives in California with her husband and two cats, and is an avid runner, reader, and musician.
