Ali Boone

Program Associate, LOPC

As the Program Associate for the Legal Orientation Program for Custodians (LOPC), Ali supports nonprofit legal service providers who educate custodians of their responsibilities. Before joining Acacia, Ali was a program associate at the Vera Institute of Justice where she also managed the LOPC. During her time working at Catholic Charities Atlanta, she provided legal orientations to adults in detention facilities as part of the LOP. Before working in orientation programs, Ali worked at a private law firm supporting attorneys in immigration cases, such as family petitions, waivers, naturalization, and DACA. Prior to jumping into the world of immigration law, she taught English at the University of Guadalajara and worked with animals in both the agricultural and veterinary setting. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia.
