Aolani Contreras Sanchez

Aolani is a Program Associate for Operations and Quality Assurance at Acacia Center for Justice, where she supports the Unaccompanied Children Program’s case continuity work. Before joining Acacia, she worked with Instituto Familiar de la Raza and SFDPH’s COVID-19 containment efforts. She’s also worked for other nonprofit and government organizations that provide health and social services to vulnerable communities. Aolani holds a BA in International Studies, with a regional focus in Latin America, from Dominican University of California. While in college, she volunteered for Catholic Charities Immigration Services, and was a tutor for the US Citizenship Exam. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, and a good film.
