Henry has over 10 years of experience providing direct services to immigrant children and adults. Prior to joining Acacia, Henry worked at the Los Angeles Asylum Office as an adjudicator, performing non-adversary interviews to grant benefits to asylum seekers in the United States. Prior to the asylum office, he also worked at the ABA ProBAR on the Texas/Mexican border where he delivered client centered services informed by compassion and cultural awareness, and contributed to the training of immigrants’ rights advocates throughout the unaccompanied children network. Henry holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Southern California.
